It works well, but I couldn’t help but notice that this has exactly the same Active Ingredients (in the same percentages) as Neutrogena Sunscreen Ultra Sheer Stick SPF 70, which includes 3x more (1.5oz vs 0.47oz), for roughly the same price. The smaller size of this product makes it easier to apply around kids’ eyes, but otherwise I’ll be using the regular/larger/cheaper Ultra Sheer Stick for larger areas.

Great sun protection for my kids. They love this on their faces and don’t complain about it stinging their faces like they do with normal liquid sunscreen. Here’s some in-depth thoughts:

    Pros:
    – It goes on very easy. Just like a stick of deodorant, just twist the dial to extend the stick of sunscreen, wipe it on their faces, and away they go.
    – The sun protection is great. It is 70 SPF. I read once that anything over 50 SPF has no additional benefit. I don’t really care. I’m using this 70 SPF and hoping that it helps protect better than 50.
    – My girls have sensitive skin and as of late, they were complaining that the liquid sunscreen was stinging their faces when we were putting it on. Also, they were coming out of the pool at the end of the day with rashes on their cheeks, ostensibly from the liquid sunscreen. I switched them to this to try to get rid of the rashes and by happenstance, it worked. No more rashes after hours in the pool and multiple reapplications.

    Cons:
    – The stick of sunscreen is small (see picture, and I don’t have giant hands). Far smaller stick than I imagined. If you were using it on an entire kids body, it wouldn’t last long at all. We just use it on our girls’ faces and liquid sunscreen on the rest of their bodies. The picture on here is quite deceiving, as there’s no size reference. I expected it to be approximately the same size as a stick of deodorant. They do list a weight, but equating that into size is difficult for the average person.

Overall, this is exceptional sunscreen. I took off a star for the size of the tube, but as far as functionality, this stuff is awesome. I will continue to buy this for years.

Wipes off way to easily and leaves you BURNT, November 30, 2015

I really like the way this product goes on – like a chapstick for your face. It is awesome that you don’t have to get your hands greasy or anything. The problem is that this is a wax that sits on top of your skin, not a lotion that gets absorbed into your skin. So when I am in the water and come up for air, if I wipe the water away from my eyes or nose, the sunscreen also comes off very very easily. I have gotten several sunburns because of this suncreeen coming off way too easily. I will stick to a Banana Boat type of sunscreen which is absorbed into the skin and will stay on several hours.

It is nice that this is an SPF70, but if it gets wiped off at the gentlest wiping motion, then it leaves no protection at all.
