Present: Franklin Evans, Raffaella, Bob Bruhin, Maria Sawczuk, Nancy Leibowitz, George Reinhart, Three Blade Jaguar, Helena Domenic Discussion of Crystal Ball People do not realize the ball is a fundraiser – complaints about price. We need to let people know where their money is going. Vendors did not do well and we did not have as many this year. We need to convince more Pagan merchants the Ball is worth attending. We made $330 profit. We must start advertising for the Crystal Ball sooner next year. Board Development Raffaella announced that she must step down as a Board Member due to family difficulties. We reluctantly accepted her resignation. Witchiepoo was voted in as a new Board Member. The decision was unanimous. Three Blade nominated Franklin for Board President. The nomination was seconded by Maria and Helena. Bob will discuss the role with Franklin. DVPN needs to focus on committee development more then Board development. Get more of our members involved. People who become more involved need to be rewarded for their work. Summer Social Date is July 18th. Three Blade volunteered to go to Fairmount Park to reserve our space. Morgan Beard has offered to perform a Japanese Tea Ceremony. Three Blade and Helena will head up the committee to plan the Social. Pagan Pride Date chosen for Pride is Sunday, September 5th. Bob and Helena will head the committee to plan Pagan Pride. It is already listed as a Fringe event. Both the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel and a local Asatruar group have agreed to perform rituals for the event. Board Retreat The retreat will take place on July 11 at Forks Farm from 12:00 – 5:00. Franklin will head the committee to plan the retreat. Three Blade already has created a good agenda.
