ITEMS UP FOR DISCUSSION

Crystal Ball

Speakers.

We have received additional inquiries from people wishing to make presentations at the Ball. Currently, the following people are speaking: Ann Duckworth, Franklin Evans, Susan Fricke, Michele Jackson, Damiara Pysell, Brian Pysell, and Gloria Rohlfs. Bob mentioned that Ann had equested to be in the first group of speakers. We have room for approximately one additional speaker at this point.

The group agreed that we need to speak with William Way regarding the cost we would be incurring if we started earlier and whether or not they would be able to accommodate this request.

The group also agrees we would easily change the start time and announce the new time in the flyers we will be sending out. We also agreed we could emphasize that the price was remaining the same and that we had expanded the hours due to the overwhelming response from the community.

Raffaella will be reporting back to the group her finding from her discussion with William Way.

Vendors

Raine is the only vendor who has paid for her space at this time. Nancy will continue contacting people who have expressed interest. Paula will contact Cindy from Kindred Spirit.

Entertainment.

The band, Raven, is booked.

Potluck Dinner.

No food worries. Final details to be discussed closer to the event.

Decorating Committee

The group elected Jenn Eastep as chair of the decorating committee at the meeting on December 19, 1999. We will discuss decorating plans with her closer to the Ball.

Is online. Paula is working on the mailing list.

Other Activities

Group discussed the possibility of attending upcoming events being held by groups throughout the area. Upcoming events include:

Paganet’sWeekend of Deep Focus and Magical Intent April 6-9.

Possibly taking a road trip. Learning how they are getting things to work for them. Could we volunteer to work the event? Bob expressed interested because Church of the Four Quarters is involved.

FreeSpirit in June.

Group trip? More details later. This is definitely a BIG must for the group.

PaganPride.

The group decided we would begin focussing on this once the Ball is completed. Bob stated this will be our first media event. Bob will look into whom to contact at the Inquirer.

Side note: Karen suggested we also have a listing of our meetings added to the Life Style section in the Inquirer under Earth Based Religions. We will begin compiling a list of free places to advertise.

2nd Annual Summer Social. We will announce our plans to have another summer social at the Ball. Details to follow.
