The Board devoted this meeting for last minute preparation for the Summer Social.
 
 

Speakers

It was agreed that the speakers would be scheduled from 11am-12noon, 1pm-2pm, and 3pm-4pm.

Tentative times are:

Kirsten and Nancy at 11am

Gloria and Samantha at 1pm

Northwolf at 3pm
 
 

Volunteers

The only volunteers to assist with preparation and break down that the board is aware of are the board members themselves.

Interview for Sales Rep

Raffae received the applicant’s resume and has had the chance to speak with her. She was impressed with her credentials. The applicant has experience with advertising and fund raising. It was agreed that Raffae would interview the applicant at the Social as she and her family would be attending. This would also give the other board members the chance to speak with her.
 
 

Updates

The Charter: Is being typed. 

Maria has no additional news on the concert as she has not had a chance to devote time to it due to the workload she currently has.

Bob was not in attendance so there were no updates on Philadelphia Cares or Pagan Pride.

Raffae reminded everyone of the Hands of Change Coven’s picnic on August 5.
 
 

New Items

The next newsletter’s tentative release date is the beginning of October.

Raffae would like article submissions by mid-September.

Possible field trips were discussed. Depending on how large a group we could get, we could van pool to the Renaissance Fair.

Raffae also announce that Bay’s Crystals and Stones is near her house... She just has to locate it!
