The Board agreed on the following set-up:

Vendors

We currently have three vendors interested in having tables.Some vendors are requesting more than one table.The Board decided that merchants will not be able to purchase additional tables until the beginning of March.

Caterers

Raffae advised the Board that she has five caterers to contact, a couple she has dealt with in the past when she worked at Penn and a couple she got from William Way.She will let the rest of the Board know when she locates a caterer.

Announcements

The Board agreed that we should announce the Ball on Witchvox any other sites that we can think of.

Decorations

Bob is in charge of decorations again this year.He said he will talk to Carol and let the Board know if she can assist us.

Door Prizes

Raffae and Paula will make a trip to Bey’s Rock Shop to get a chunk of something.They highly suggest Bob go so he can experience all the energy.Paula mentioned that Jenn Estep may be able to assist us with getting a wholesale price.Paula will follow-up.It was also decided to ask various merchants, such as Hotwax, who have assisted us in the past to donate something in exchange to mention in the newsletter.Paula will contact Mystickal Tymes to see if they will donate a door prize.It was also suggested we contact Aquarius Rising.

The Board also agreed there would be no 50-50 drawing this year.

Newsletter

Bob and Raffae brought copies of the newsletter to the meeting.Paula was able to do the mailing that night and would send copies to the advertizers over the weekend.

Charter

Bob will announce the date of the Annual Meeting on the list and request applications for Board membership.

Open Hearth Foundation Swap

The Board unanimously agreed to take part in the swap OHF offered.

The Frost’s Visit

Bob has gotten in touch with Brian from Drexel’s Silver Dragon Circle (SDC).They are very interested in working with us to bring the Frost’s to the area.SDC will provide space.

Bob will be contacting the Frost’s to see if they are willing to do the talk as a benefit.This would enable DVPN and SDC to charge admission and split the proceeds collected.

Summer Social

We will announce the date of the Summer Social at the Ball.The Board agreed we will book the usual space as soon after the Ball as possible.

Art Show

Due to planning and people’s availability, the art show may not happen this year..

Ball 2002

The Board agreed that we will start looking at space and booking the date of next year’s Ball once this event is completed.We agreed that we need to look at a number of things, such as: how we do financially on this year’s Ball, how the new format works, how we stand financially overall.A lot is riding on this year’s Ball and the Fund Drive.We did agree that we can book the space, preferable the Germantown UU Church, and that we would be able to get our deposit back if necessary.

International Pagan Pride Project

Paula and Raffae both agreed that Bob should do a presentation at the Ball on Pagan Pride since it is such an important event for us.Bob agreed.

AIDS Walk

We will announce that we will be participating in the AIDS Walk again this year.
