Minutes of the board meeting 9/13/06 Those present: Morgan Beard Bob Bruhin Franklin Evans Three Blade Jaguar Nancy Lebowitz George Reinhart 1. Minutes from last meeting approved. Morgan will post on site. 2. Pagan Pride Day - Has at least one confirmed ritual = Heathen blot - Will have several artisans - Three Blade volunteered to pull locals together for second ritual 3. Board members - George Reinhart gave his official resignation effective the end of September; is relocating outside the Philadelphia area. - Franklin to contact potential new board members 4. Open meetings - Morgan suggested replacing monthly meetings with four regional meetings for which we would try to pull in local groups and hold a potluck-style gathering. - Annual DVPN business meeting to be held separately. - Following discussion, decision was tabled for future decision. 5. Membership issues - Franklin suggested taking out ads in community newspapers as a form of outreach. Three Blade estimated would need a budget of $1,000. - Will advertise on DVPN lists for social notes reporter - Suggested offering paid members a profile page on the DVPN site (no decision) 6. Broom Closet - George will continue to operate technical end - Approved $35 reimbursement to George for domain name renewal. 7. Newsletter - Expenses for Autumn 06 newsletter: $419.94 printing + $91.02 postage = $510.96 - Projected ad revenue = $270 - DVPN to reimburse Morgan for ad revenue, she will cover the rest 8. Finances - Current balance = $705 (not including recent dues paid or expenses in this report)
