With changes made at meeting, unanimously approved for publication.

Summer Social:

Raff – bringing door prizes; other prizes may show up; bringing picnic supplies, rope, scissors, cooler w/ice; signs and hammer.

Bob – all food from Ball and will purchase soda and water.

Franklin – will bring extra soda from Solstice event.

Maria – money box and games.

Board will arrive at 9:30 to set up; a volunteer will also be there.

Schedule of events is on website.

Spiral Scouts presenting kids activities; another person has been referred to Raff to help with younger kids.

Newsletter:

Next issue in progress, waiting for one article.

Question: any editorials in this issue?

Sabrina again contributing artwork.

Paula has ad money.

Should be out by 1^st week in August.

Finances:

Balance reported in checking: $150.08; Bob reported a recent deposit of $90.00, for a final balance of $240.08.

A comment was made that each newsletter costs $660 to publish.

No membership update given, two new members were mentioned.

Next newsletter: modify membership application to indicate renewal or new; Bob will make correction to the website version.

Pagan Pride:

Paula was not present to give an update.

Miscellaneous:

UofD talk: spoke with Marie, still pursuing but confirmed DVPN support as provided for previous talk.

Blood Drive: no agreement reached for August 4^th, George will pick a day in August an let the board know.

Winter Solstice Celebration: on hold in Stasa’s absence.

Philly Green: Raff has not yet met with her contacts.

Open Discussion:

Board development: need to find ways to attract talent we don’t have (grant writers, publicity, children’s programming); board should focus on indentifying potential members to invite.

Bob will be attending NJ Pagan Picnic as DVPN representative, weekend after Summer Social.
